1940 Chevy Special Deluxe
The 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe, introduced as the top-tier model in Chevrolet's pre-World War II lineup, is celebrated for its streamlined, modern design and stylish chrome accents. Powered by a reliable 216.5 cubic inch inline-six engine with around 90 horsepower, it offered solid performance and a comfortable, well-appointed interior. Its popularity contributed to Chevrolet's strong market position, and it remains a cherished classic today. Production ceased in early 1942 due to World War II, marking the Special Deluxe as one of the last new Chevrolets before the wartime halt in civilian car manufacturing.

This ambitious build plan involves meticulously restoring every component of the vehicle to its original glory while integrating the body of the Special Deluxe with the chassis and modern features of a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer. Throughout this process, we're committed to educating and inspiring the next generation of automotive enthusiasts through our Master Gear Academy program.
